Course Goals:
Introduce students to series solutions of differential equations, vector calculus, Fourier series, special functions and solutions of partial differential equations.

Textbook: Advanced Engineering Mathematics, the 5th Edition by Dennis Zill and Warren S. Wright.
Course Content: Chapter 5 (Series Solutions of Ordinary Differential Equations), 9 (Vector Calculus), 12 (Orthogonal Functions and Fourier Series), and 13 (Boundary-Value Problems (of Partial Differential Equations) in Rectangular Coordinates). See the daily plan for details.

Grading: It is based on homework assignments, quizzes, four hour exams and one comprehensive final exam.

Exams are designed to test your understanding of the mathematical concepts and computational procedures, and your problem solving skills for the topics covered in this course.

Grades (overall average): 

A = 90% or higher, B = 80% - 89%, C = 70% - 79%, D = 60% - 69%, F = 59% or lower
